Who we are
BeerTour.ist is a directory of breweries, venues, beers, and related events. We do not sell alcohol. For privacy enquiries, use the contact details on our Contact page.
Data we collect
Account data: email address and profile fields you provide when registering or updating your account. Usage data: pages visited via Cloudflare Web Analytics (performance and traffic, cookie-free beacon). Optional analytics: if you consent, Google Analytics may process interaction data under Google's terms. Anonymous action counts: aggregate events via our API without attaching your user id. Technical data: IP address and request metadata in server logs for security and rate limiting (short retention).
Lawful basis
We process account and security data to perform our contract with you and for legitimate interests in operating a safe service. Optional analytics relies on your consent. You may withdraw consent via Cookie settings without affecting essential site functions.
Processors
Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, Web Analytics, Turnstile. Google — Analytics (only with consent). ImageKit — image optimisation and delivery. Resend — transactional email for magic-link sign-in. We use data processing agreements where required.
Retention
Session and account data are kept while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations. Server logs and rate-limit records are kept for a limited period. Analytics retention follows each provider's settings.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Minors
The site is intended for people of legal drinking age where they are. We do not knowingly collect data from visitors who declare they are under legal drinking age on our age gate.
